Dairy Mark is an initiative taken by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India to demonstrate quality and food security in the dairy sector by improving process. This will help improve consumer confidence in dairy products manufactured and retailed in India and ensure consistency in the implementation of food security in dairies. Also, the introduction of “Dairy Mark” will also focus on quality in the dairy sector.
